Jobs Description

The Cepheid Compensation Manager will be responsible for leading, developing and executing the organization's compensation philosophy, strategies, programs and policies in support of business objectives for the Americas. This role will collaborate with regional and global HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and other key stakeholders to ensure our compensation programs are aligned with business strategies and support our ability to attract, motivate and retain top talent.

The Cepheid Compensation Manager will report to the Senior Director of Human Resources for the Americas.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and administration of all compensation programs (base pay, variable pay, sales incentive plans) for the Americas region in alignment with global compensation strategy

• Conduct annual salary planning and merit budgeting process; make recommendations on budget allocations

• Design, implement and manage short-term and long-term incentive programs that align with company strategy and drive desired business results

• Conduct regular market analysis to ensure competitiveness of Cepheid's compensation programs; make recommendations for updates/improvements as needed

• Partner with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers on offers/negotiations for new hires, promotions and transfers; coach managers on effective negotiation strategies within established guidelines

• Provide data analysis and reporting support on all aspects of compensation including job leveling, salary ranges, FLSA classification etc.

Cepheid is looking for a Compensation Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for providing support and administration of Cepheid's compensation programs across the Americas.

The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and administering compensation programs, as well as working knowledge of market data and job leveling.
